T20 cricket, the shortest yet most thrilling format of the game introduced in 2003 became increasingly popular among cricket fans, leading to the inauguration of the international T20 world cup in 2007. Since then, there have been seven editions of this format with multiple teams lifting the trophies. The last edition was played in 2021 and right now we’re on the eve of the 2022 world cup.
